Engr. (Dr.) Bola Mudasiru and the entire team at Prolarank celebrates Engr. (Dr.) Aishatu Umar on her election as the African representative of World Council of Civil Engineers (WCCE).
Engr. Aishatu, an indigene of Adamawa state is a remarkable Engineer known for her doggedness and immense contributions to the engineering profession both locally and at the international level.
She is solely dedicated to the provision of quality service aimed at enhancing professional competence and development especially in the Nigerian of Engineers.
Engineer Umar currently serves as the Vice President, Nigerian Society of Engineers. She is also the pioneer chairman – Nigerian Society of Engineers(NSE) GIRI branch, Past Publicity Secretary and past Treasurer – Nigerian Society of Engineers(NSE) Abuja branch, past National Chairman (NICE), to mention but a few.
She is the first female Engineer to create an NSE branch, which is Giri branch, Abuja, the first female Engineer to be a fellow in three (3) professional recognized body in Nigeria; FNSE, FNICE and FCAI.
She has paid her dues in the service to the Nigerian Society of Engineers and the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers. She is believed to have the tenacity to take the professional council of Engineers to an enviable stage at all levels. She has contributed very significantly to the growth and development of the Engineering profession in Nigeria through participation in many programmes and courses.
